Session One features one hundred lots of Shaker art and antiques curated by John Keith Russell and Thomas Queen. This sale marks the first installment of what will become Bray & Co.'s annual Shaker auction. Session Two presents American Folk Art, Outsider Art, and more, highlighted by selections from the collection of Bruce and Doranna Wendel. Assembled over the course of fifty years, this distinguished offering includes exceptional gameboards, weathervanes, carvings, and related material that reflects a colorful and discerning approach to collecting. The sale also includes the personal collection of Roger McLane, whose Ohio Gallery helped introduce generations of collectors to the field of outsider art, including works by Ernest "Popeye" Reed, William Hawkins, Leonard "Stoney" St. Clair, and many others.
